President Donald Trump praised car manufacturers Toyota and Mazda on Friday for their announced plans to build a plant in the United States.

The businesses said they will spend $1.6 billion on the plant and expect it to create 4,000 jobs, per the Associated Press, and build 300,000 vehicles a year.

Trump, who ran on a platform of criticizing foreign manufacturing and free trade, has repeatedly criticized car companies like Toyota and charged that they have shipped jobs out of the U.S. On Friday, he signaled his support for the move.

“A great investment in American manufacturing!” Trump said on Twitter early Friday morning.
